The adults have an excellent understanding of each child’s risks and vulnerabilities. The adults in the home support the children to understand the risks that they face, while working hard to reduce the level of risk.

I am impressed with how far you have come with (child) compared to when I first started
working with you. They seem extremely settled and secure. As are the staff team and that is
something to really pat yourself on the back about!

It is clear to see how much you all care and this is shown when you keep in touch with
children after they have left.

Kennet Care has significantly improved our understanding of the Children's Homes Regulations and adherence to Regulation 32 and we have used this to improve our profiles and standards across the services.

Children enjoy warm and caring relationships with the adults who look after them, the adults have an excellent understanding of each child’s risks and vulnerabilities and the home is well managed by a competent and experienced management team.

There has been so much change with (child) since they first arrived and I am sure this is
testament to all the hard work you have invested.

With the consistent approach, clear boundaries and overall support you have succeeded in making the house a loving home which is what each child deserves!

Children enjoy a range of activities. Staff support children to develop their independent living skills. Children's health and well-being are promoted. Children attend school and are making progress.

Strong working relationships with professionals mean that there is consistency across all aspects of the children’s lives, and children know what is expected of them. Children are supported to have their voices heard by those who make decisions about their lives. The adults advocate for them effectively, to ensure that the children’s wishes are understood.

I miss my (child) so much but I am glad that ther are in a place that care and support their needs. Thank you for all the help you give (child) and for ensuring I am part of (child) lives.

The staff go above and beyond for (child), the memories created are outstanding and the evidence of these in memory books are the best I have seen in my role.

I can go on and on about the amazing job that all the staff that work with (child) did for them. You are all exceptional, understanding, superb and outstanding.

Children are protected from being cared from by inappropriate people through thorough safer recruitment checks, with the same high standards being held when agency or temporary appointments are made.

The home is lovely and nurturing, the children are looked after beautifully by dedicated staff. The manager should proud of all the work she has done and everyone is just fantastic!

Thank you so much for everything you guys have done for (child). Without you guys, I wouldn’t have the (child) I have today.

Transitions which could have been very problematic have been smooth because of the diligent work completed by the home and management team, thank you very much for all you do.

It is clear to see how much you all care and this is shown when you keep in touch with children after they have left.

It is refreshing to see a provider who clearly has the best interests of the child at heart rather than serving notice when the ‘going gets tough'.

This is one of the best homes around!

We are so grateful of the way everyone supports us as a school.

I have only been at Kennet Care for 3 weeks but wanted to share with you how supported I have felt having met a number of colleagues. Everyone has been welcoming, friendly and kind meaning I have felt at ease and not judged in any way.

This is very different than my last place of work and shows me that not every care organisation treats their employees the same way.

The Training & Induction Manager gets a special mention, she has been absolutely amazing and the amount of knowledge she has is incredible.
