At Kennet Care we recognise that education is key for all children. It is for this reason we have chosen ASDAN as an education tool where children in our care are not able to access mainstream or alternative education provisions.
ASDAN is an education charity and awarding organisation on a mission to engage, elevate and empower learners with diverse needs.
Education is powerful. For every child, a good education unlocks access to a broader range of life choices and chances. But this is especially true for children who, due to difficult life experiences, miss out on the opportunities and support enjoyed by their peers.
For children in our care, a good education can be as essential to their development and happiness as getting the right place to live.
The values of ASDAN fully align with Kennet Care, including the vision that all children and young people are empowered through experiential education and personal development to discover and achieve their potential.
Our mission also aligns in that we want to engage learners with diverse needs, enabling them to achieve meaningful outcomes that elevate them into further education, training, and work — and empowering them to create their own future.
Our team of support staff will ensure that each child receives the individualised care they need in order to develop their independence and achieve to the best of their ability.
