Kennet Care has residential children’s homes catering for the needs of young people between the ages of 8 and 17 years old. We aim to create a warm caring environment that is safe and supportive enabling young people to recover from past life experiences and grow to achieve their full potential.
We offer a warm, caring and nurturing environment to a young person or sibling group, who, for whatever reason are unable to live within their own families. Wherever possible admissions and discharges will be in a planned way and we aim to accommodate and work with young people as long as is necessary to achieve the best outcome for them. Although young people will normally be accommodated on a long-term basis, we will consider respite care dependent on the current peer group and the circumstances.
